INCREDIBLY well written!! Each character has so much story and life built into them! Brittnay put a lot of thought into the scenes, backstories and so much more and it 100% shows!! This read was like a breath of fresh air! Even with the prophecies and dark scenarios, this book stays very light-hearted, comical and fun!
Very well done fantasy. I'm not even a big fantasy reader but this is up there with any of the popular ones I've read (Fourth Wing, A Court of Thorns and Roses, Quicksilver, etc). The character and realm building is an enjoyable escape.
You will fall in love with the characters as the character development in this book is superb and the group that has come together to help Riley all bring something unique to the table. The world building is very well done and you’ll love the magical realism and mythical creatures contained within. You absolutely feel as if you are exploring this magical world along with the characters in the book.
